A public holiday, national holiday or legal holiday is a holiday generally established by law and is usually a non-working day during the year. This page contains public holidays sorted by years. Holiday dates may be change from time to time, so please check back regularly for updates. Scroll down to view the national holidays and short description of each holiday.
  • China’s official Public Holidays for next year will release by State Council which is the highest state administrative authority, around November or December of current year
  • To conjunction with country’s largest and most important holiday, such as Spring Festival. State council will announce additional holiday to make long holiday weeks.
  • Official working days on Saturday and Sunday will declare as well to replace these given extra holidays
  • There would be a “Golden Week” 7 days holiday start from 1st October , which is refer to as National Day holidays
